Under the slogan (Patient Safety 2017); Almoosa Specialist Hospital in Al-Ahsa has held a conference on patient safety for a one-day at "Fahd Al-Muhanna" auditorium at the hospital, the conference was attended by a number of consultants, specialists and hospital staff and heads of the relevant departments of providing healthcare service, as well as a large number of health practitioners, medical students and those interested in patient safety in the region, the conference sessions were presented by 10 speakers who have proven their leadership competence within their fields and their active roles in the field of quality management and patient safety in Healthcare filed in Saudi Arabia.
The conference began with an opening speech by Mr. Malek Almoosa - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Almoosa Specialist Hospital - in which he emphasized the importance of organizing and holding such conferences, that interested in discussing topics that directly related to healthcare, and the important role they play in enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to patients in hospitals.
Mr. Almoosa said during his speech, that the aim of organizing this conference is to provide education and knowledge for all healthcare services providers, in order to educate them and raise awareness among them about the importance of patient safety through emphasizing quality of service and international standards in this field, and make it a patient-centered-ongoing culture, which sponsored by specialist hospitals and all other health sectors.
