Almoosa specialist hospital has held the event of diabetes can be my friend, cooperating with Spimaco Addwaeih to raise awareness about diabetes and how to deal with it. The event was held on Sunday and Monday 22-23/03/2015 from (10:30-12:30) AM and (4:30-7:30) PM and was located in the second floor by the bridge. On the event, there were educational broachers, nurses to measure the Blood Glucose and patient educators with other educational materials. Diabetes can be my friend event represented Almoosa specialist hospital care to raise the awareness about diabetes for each patient and non-patient that might have a chance to be diabetic and adding to that the medical services and education health that are provided at the hospital.
During the activation of the national week for oral health, Almoosa specialist hospital organized a section in Dental Bright center for health education on level three. The event included a free check up, educational materials and visits to schools with the presence of Dental doctor and a nurse during the whole week. This was held from Saturday to Friday 21-27/03/2015 from (8:00-12:00) AM and (4:00-8:30) PM. The program aimed to educate the public and specially children and their parents about the importance of Oral health and how to take care of it.
